Look no further! ACTeen offers four amazing summer terms, with over sixteen specialized electives. June, July, August or Summer Saturday Academies will sharpen your technique and get you working! In addition to our year round Film and Commercial courses, special summer electives include: Alexander Technique (a specialized and superb movement workshop), Foundations of Acting (a Meisner based theater acting course), Directing, Script Writing, Shakespeare, Voiceovers, Monologues, Modern Drama, Theater, Physical Storytelling, Improvisation, Musical Theater, Singing Voice, and our Audition Workshop.
All instructors are specialists in their fields, —preparing you to be a versatile, well-trained actor! Eric Hill, taking a leave from his spring ACTeen film class to shoot leading role in the film “Patriots.” The film deals with the true story of the New Orleans basketball team from John Ehret High School, who were displaced after Hurricane Katrina, yet won the 2006 5A-state championship. Academy Award winning actor Forest Whitaker plays head coach Al Collens and Eric plays the team captain! Filming in New Orleans with writer Robert Eisele’s (“The Great Debaters”) script, and the sports coordinator from “Remember the Titans” and “Glory Road”!! .
Jordana Brewster is currently in film production for “The Untitled Fast and Furious Sequel,” which will reunite Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana in her role as “Mia”….
Daniella Alonso has two films in production: “Midnight Man” by writer/director Marcus Dunstan, and “Sense and Sensibilidad”, A Latina spin on Jane Austen's "Sense and Sensibility" set in contemporary Los Angeles. Daniella played “Carlotta,” love interest for ‘Matt Saracen’ in 11 episodes of NBC-TV’s series “Friday Night Lights”…
Jordana Spiro starring in second season of TBS-TV’s series “My Boys”, and also in feature films “The Year of Getting to Know You,” with Jimmy Fallon and “The Goods: The Don Ready Story” with Jeremy Pivens and Ving Rhames….…

Jon Seda just off CBS‘s “Close to Home” (as “Ray Blackwell) filming “The Pacific” a 10 part mini-series by the producers of “Band of Brothers.”
Ariel Reid dancing in the new hit feature film “Hairspray” with John Travolta, Queen Latifah, and Brittany Snow. Ariel is currently dancing on Broadway in the Tony-winning musical “Spamalot.”
Debargo Sanyal, excellent with fellow alum Matt Unger in “The Woodpecker” at the Cherry Lane Theater Off Broadway. Part of the Mentor Play series, the play was mentored by Charles Fuller (“A Soldier’s Story”). Debargo also just filmed a guest spot on “Law & Order. Also a six-minute short film he’s in called "Dry Clean Only") has been selected by the PBS series "Independent Lens" with actors Aaron Yoo,

Ronete Levenson, amazing in Mary Zimmerman’s (“Metamorphoses”) new play “Argonautica” at McCarter Theater. The play has performed at the Berkeley Rep in CA, The Shakespeare Theater in Washington DC and now in NJ…Ronete has been in all three productions.
