ACTeen Saturday Summer Academy
A six-week, Saturday-only program. Offering four courses between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Students may elect to take any combination of the four courses offered.

The "Summer Application" photo and application fee may be brought to your appointment to speed processing after May 1. (Alumni do not have to re-interview).
AUDITION INTERVIEWS are held weekday afternoons or Saturdays. Prospective students who cannot travel to New York City because they live outside the tri-state area should refer to ACTeen’s long distance application (found on the “Forms” page).
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Students should prepare one or two contemporary monologues from any source. Monologues should be one to two minutes in length and memorized. See “Links” page for suggestions on where to find appropriate monologues. If necessary the Teen Director can supply a cold-reading audition.
ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION: Students accepted into the summer program are formally notified by mail within two weeks of their audition date, sooner after May 1.
IF ACCEPTED: Students must return the completed registration form, a deposit of 50% (half) of total tuition, and a $25 non-refundable application fee (if unpaid) within two weeks of acceptance letter to secure placement. Students accepted after May 1 must pay tuition in full at registration. Cash, personal checks, or money orders are acceptable. (NO CREDIT CARDS) (Please make checks payable to “ACTeen Inc.”). Please do not send cash through the mail.
EARLY FULL DAY PROGRAM DISCOUNT: Register for all four courses by March 1 and SAVE! Full day tuition is $1200 if you register by March 1. (assumes successful application, audition, and acceptance with payment of required tuition deposit.)
Multiple Course Discounts: Register in two workshops and save $25.00. Take three or more and save $50. (Does not apply to Full Day Early Discounted Offer ).
BALANCES DUE: For all registered Summer Academy students BALANCE OF TUITION IS DUE May 1. Students may still register after May 1 if space is available. Student with balances outstanding after June 1 may forfeit deposit and reservation for programs.
LATE REGISTRATION: Students may still apply after May 1. Students accepted after May 1 must pay tuition in full. All workshops fill in order of deposits received, and we regret we cannot hold a space for any student without timely payment of tuition deposit.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Summer Saturday Academy cancellation requests must be received in writing, signed by a parent or guardian, and arrive by May 1 to receive a full tuition refund (less non-refundable application fee). Cancellation requests received after May 1 but before May 15th receive a 25% (of total tuition) refund. No refunds or credits after May 15 or after classes have begun for any reason. This policy is firm and necessary to maintain our small class composition.
Note: Tuition paid after June 15 must be paid by bank check, money order, or cash.
Note: We have a $20 fee for returned checks, which require an immediate cash or money order replacement.
