Miriam Silverman, ACTeen's terrific Speech &Voice Instructor, has just been nominated for a Drama Desk Award for "Outstanding Actress in a Play" for her amazing role in Off Broadway's "Finks" at Ensemble Studio Theater. The play by Joe Gilford has also been nominated for "Outstanding Play!" Drama Desk Awards, which are presented annually, honor outstanding achievement by professional theatre artists on Broadway, Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway. Drama Desk Awards are voted on and bestowed by theatre critics, journalists, editors and publishers covering theatre "without any vested interest in the results.” We are so very proud of Miriam!

How to Be A Working Actor Mari Lyn Henry, (former Head of Daytime Programing for ABC devotes two pages interviewing Rita Litton in her book "The Bible of the Biz." ACTeen is described as "a marvelous curriculum of courses developed for teens."
