Alexander Technique (a specialized and superb movement workshop), Directing, Script Writing, Shakespeare, Voiceovers, Monologues, Modern Drama, Theater, Physical Storytelling, Improvisation, Musical Theater, Singing Voice, and our Audition Workshop.
All instructors are specialists in their fields, —preparing you to be a versatile, well-trained actor! Julia Goldani Telles, (alum Film) stars in ABC Family's ballet drama series "Bunheads!" Julia plays the sarcastic, but beautifuly graceful dancer "Sasha," who has a troubled family life. The series produced by "Gilmore Girls' creater Amy Sherman Palladino, stars two Broadway Tony Award Winning veterans, Sutton Foster, and Kelly Bishop (as her mother in law)! The series has just returned for for more episodes! Tune in!!
Sofia Black D'Elia (August Academy) recently "Sage" in the final six episodes of the long running teen sensation, the CW's "Gossip Girl." Sage managed to upset all the key players, and her role was a standout! Look for Sofia soon as as the lead in an upcomingfeature film "Born of War.")
Daniella Alonso, (alum Film) Daniella stars as rebel fighter “Nora’ in hit NBC series “REVOLUTION” directed by John Favreau (“Iron Man”) and executive produced by JJ Abrams (“Lost”, “Fringe”)! Look for it on Monday nights following “The Voice”!! Daniella has had a super year, with character arcs on USA Network’s “Rizzoli & Isles” as “Detective Riley Cooper” a former undercover cop/neighbour of Jane’s. Daniella also played therapist “Suzanne’ on “Covert Affairs.” Suzanne treated Auggie (Christopher Gorman) and walked cross traffic blindfolded (to better understand Augie’s life).
Katelyn Tarver filming Season Four of Nickelodeon's hit series "Big Time Rush," reprising her role as Jo Taylor which she played for two seasons. Recently played "Mercedes" for eight episodes of the ABC Family's hit TV series "Secret Life of an American Teen."
Harper Carroll, recently ACTeen Talent Industry Showcase finalist, nabbed her first agent, and her very first audition! Four days filming in the new CBS series "Golden Boy!" Harper has a co-starring role as 'Shana" a troubled teen model. Congrats Harper!!
Keenan Cochrane booked a wonderful guest role on the upcoming 2013 series "Zero Hour" starring Anthony Edwards ("E.R.").
Jordana Brewster stars as "Elena Ramos" in the second season of TNT’s hit series "Dallas,” with original Dallas series stars Larry Hagman, Patrick Ewing, and Linda Gray.The Warner Horizon Television-produced drama, which ranks as basic cable's #1 new series, is currently averaging 6.9 million viewers in its first season. Upcoming Jordana will reprise her role of "Mia' in "The Fast and Furious 6!"
Jordana Spiro, (PJ Franklin "My Boys) just finished a season as lead " Dr. Grace Devlin" in the FOX-TV series "Mob Doctor."
Jamie Lynn Sigler (formerly 'Meadow' in the Sopranos), plays cast regular "Emily in the new NBC sitcom "Guys With Kids," also starring Tempest Bledose and Anthony Anderson.
Raphael Sbarge, returns to storybook land in season two of ABC's hit series "Once Upon a Time" in the dual role of Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket.'
Max Schneider, recent Film, Film Casting Director Seminar alum) co-starred in the recent Nickelodeon TV series "How to Rock," with singer Cymphonique Miller, (daughter of Master P). Max also starred (as male lead Charlie Prince)in "Rags" a reverse Cinderella story TV Movie also produced by Nickelodeon, and co-starring two time NAACP Image Award winner Keke Palmer ("True Jackson," "Akeelah and the Bee"). Both shows featured Max's wonderful singing & dancing talent!! This past summer Max was on tour with Victoria Justice. Look for Max in an upcoming feature film "The Last Keeper," with Olympia Dukakis, Zosia Mamet ("Girls") and Aidan Quinn.
Shannon Walsh, filmed a role in the new Judd Apatow produced feature "Can a Song Save Your Life,” written directed by John Carney ("Once"). The music-driven drama stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfield ("True Grit") & Adam Levine (Maroon 5). Shannon plays a gawky musical prodigy cello player, recruited by Ruffalo’s character to play in Keira’s band!
Davi Santos, completed his second indie film (as actor/director/producer)“The Densely Hollow”, and plays “Carlos” in the Byron Allen produced TV sitcom “Mr. Box Office, now filming episodes in LA. During Davi’s last visit to LA he shot an episode of “How to Rock” with fellow alum Max Schneider and an episode of “Don’t Trust the B...in Apt 23.”
Philip Ettinger, has been very busy. He played ‘Zach’ in HBO’ new series “Girls” and “Kevin” in the critically acclaimed indie film “Compliance” starring Dreama Walker (Huffington Post called it "One of the most well-paced, brilliantly acted films of the year"). See him also in three other indie films: as "Doug" in "SLEEPWALK WITH ME" by writer/director Mike Birbiglia, (which won the '2012 Audience A.ward' at Sundance), “Brandon’ in “The Maids Room,” and ‘Donnie’ in “Chu and Blossom.”
Debargo Sanyal guest stared on the CBS police drama series "NYC 22" as emergency room resident physician 'Dr. Choudry'. The episode was directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal (director dad of Jake and Maggie), produced by Robert De Niro. Debargo also appears as “Mahmoud” in the feature film “The Magic of Belle Isle” starring Morgan Freeman. See Debargo in a national Toyto commercial with Eli Manning, and a NY Lottery commercial re-airing as well!
Jon Seda ("The Pacific") returned as "Nelson Hildago" in season 3 of HBO's wonderful New Orleans based series "TREME." Jon also appears as "Detective Antonio Dawson" brother to paramedic "Gabriella Dawson" for a five episode guest-arc" on NBC's new TV series "Chicago Fire."
Justin Bohon, is dancing on Broadway in "The Book of Mormon," winner of 9 Tony awards!
Lily Levy Epstein (the youngest member of the Collegiate Chorale), recently sang with them in the highly acclaimed concert performance of "The Mikado" at Carnegie Hall, featuring Kelli O'Hara. Lily sang in Israel this past summer at the prestigious Salzberg Festival under direction of Zubin Mehta and Riccardo Multi. Bravo Lily!
Matthew Bonifacio ("Lbs.") will direct, produce and star in indie drama "The Quitter." Fellow alum Neil Jain is also producing. Matthew plays a failed baseball player trying to become a father to the seven-year-old girl he abandoned. Matthew was nominated last year for a John Cassavetes Award by Film Independent for "Lbs.," seven years after the pic premiered at Sundance!
Ralph Rodriguez just shot an episode of “Blue Bloods’ for CBS, plays “Julio” in “Compliance” (with fellow alum Phil Ettinger!), and appears in “Son of No One,” “Detachment,” and the upcoming “Gimme Shelter.”
Gillian Zinser, (July Academy alum) stars in a new feature “Liars All” with Matt Lanter, and appears in the new Oliver Stone directed film "Savages." Gillian played played surfer girl, "Ivy" for three years on the CW hit TV series "90210."
Daisy Hobbs, toured in the first National Tour of Tony-Winning "Best Musical" "Memphis," understudying Montego Glover in the lead role!
Jillian Mueller (Foundations, Film, Film Casting Seminar) toured in the first National Tour of the hit Broadway musical --"American Idiot" ! Before her departure she had a role on CBS's "A Gifted Man" with Patrick Wilson. Bravo to her triple threat talents !!!
Austin Percario (July Academy) featured in "The Final Twelve" season finale of Fox-TV's first season of "The X Factor" as part of group InTENsity! Austin originally auditioned as part of a duo "Ausem", then made it through auditions and boot camp to join the created ten teen InTENsity. Paula Abdul groomed his group! What an amazing experience for this gifted singing alum !!
Juliet Brett, and Olivia Croccicchia both guest starred on the "Crushed" episode of CBS-TV's series "CSI: NY." Olivia also lead in "Terri" a Sundance Film Festival favorite starring Jacob Wysocki and John C. Reilly, and upcoming in film "Nailed" with Jake Gyllenhaal!
Elizabeth Masucci, featured in the critically acclaimed film "Shame" starring Michael Fassbinder, and Carrie Mulligan. Look for Liz also in several TV series "Gossip Girl," "Person of Interest.," and "The 2-2" a new TV crime drama produced by Robert DeNiro,
Jenna Lamia, alum recently in "The Fighter" feature film as Christian Bale's and Mark Wahlberg's sister, is now writing for the CW series hit "90210".

Laura Breckenridge guest starred as "Dana' with Donnie Wahlberg in "Blue Bloods," as "Sara' with alum Jordana Spiro in "Mob Doctor,' and as Lisa Richards on "CSI:NY" episode in "Clean Sweep" episode.
Heather Braverman (August Academy) filmed her role of Lila in the indie film "Spaz" (with Spencer List.) and signs with terrific record producer!
Bridget Berger, one of the Jersey Girls on Broadway in “Jersey Boys”.
Amanda Quaid, our wonderful Speech & Voice instructor has appeared in four Off Broadway plays recently. Tony Kushner's "Illusion," "Happy Hour" by Ethan Coen, F. Murray Abraham's daughter in "Gallileo" for the Classic Stage Company, and most recently glowing reviews in the NY Times for "The Cockfight Play"! Now Amanda is set to appear at Lincoln Center in "Luck of the Irish" this winter! Kudos to Amanda!!
Congratulations to the Fall Talent Industry Showcase participants. Many have had follow up agent or manager appointments (several have had multiple appointments), and several have been offered exclusive contracts, and are actively auditioning! We are very proud of all their hard work, discipline, and talent!
